Shoelace Factory by eiknop Shoelace Factory by eiknop
One of my first rolls through my new panoramic camera. LOVE it so much.
This is a shot of the shoelace factory inside the City Museum - St. Louis, MO.
Sorry for the poor quality - if I ever get the chance to scan it, I'll re-upload it.

Panoramic Camera

Edit:I've just printed this! New version was added 06.21.2007
This is a photo of my print as my scanner is not large enough.
Print is 5x12 on 11x14 paper.
Printed traditionally!

this is really cool...the light is overwhelming - but in a good way. it gives it a surreal feeling. i like all the repeating patterns of the spools & such, and the colors are very interesting.

I just wanted to let you know that I've uploaded a better version of this image.

It was so hard to print and get the colors right. I'm still not sure if they're right, but I think they're close enough.

Interesting perspective, and the colors are very interesting, but I would much prefer to see the final version of this photo, when it's processed or whatever it's called.

Nice piece of work. I actually think the industrious feeling of the quality fits nicely.

:( I kind of liked those things at the border and the lesser quality. It added to the flavour :]

It's a bit blurry, but the picture itself is beautiful!
I love the color of it.

Hmm.. well, an interesting photo =D
Since its scanned, I'm not sure how much you'd actually be able to fix if rescanned. Maybe increase the saturation a little? Bring out the colors.

This image...in real life is only the size of the negative. Quality will greatly improve one I either print it or get a film scanner.

Thanks for looking.

as you've said in your comments it is poor quality but i don't think it's just the scanning I think that you're focis isn't the greatest neither is your whitebalance since everything looks very yellow. :S better luck with your other photo's

Yeah, it's not really color corrected. It's yellow on the contact sheet from being daylight balance film shot indoors.

As for focus, that's due to long exposure, thanks for looking though.

Yeah it's not really color corrected - it's just a scan from the contact sheet - I'll eventually re-upload it when I get a good film scan of the negative.

Its kinda out of focus, but this may be due to the fact that this is scanned in. Its interesting and almost seems like the camera is hiding and watching what the people are doing in secret =]

(It is still a little blurry, but the indoor shutter speed is rather long. Still better than before)
